عَنِ ابْنِ عَبَّاسٍ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُمَا أَنَّ رَسُولَ اللهِ ﷺ قَالَ: «إِنَّ اللهَ تَجَاوَزَ لِي عَنْ أُمَّتِي الْخَطَأَ وَالنِّسْيَانَ وَمَا اسْتُكْرِهُوا عَلَيْهِ».

English Translation

On the authority of Ibn ʻAbbas (may Allah be pleased with them both), that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Verily Allah has pardoned for me my nation their mistakes, their forgetfulness, and that which they are compelled to do.”
