عَنْ أَبِي هُرَيْرَةَ رَضِيَ اللهُ عَنْهُ قَالَ: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللهِ ﷺ: «إِنَّ اللهَ تَعَالَى قَالَ: مَنْ عَادَى لِي وَلِيًّا فَقَدْ آذَنْتُهُ بِالْحَرْبِ. وَمَا تَقَرَّبَ إِلَيَّ عَبْدِي بِشَيْءٍ أَحَبَّ إِلَيَّ مِمَّا افْتَرَضْتُ عَلَيْهِ، وَمَا يَزَالُ عَبْدِي يَتَقَرَّبُ إِلَيَّ بِالنَّوَافِلِ حَتَّى أُحِبَّهُ، فَإِذَا أَحْبَبْتُهُ كُنْتُ سَمْعَهُ الَّذِي يَسْمَعُ بِهِ، وَبَصَرَهُ الَّذِي يُبْصِرُ بِهِ، وَيَدَهُ الَّتِي يَبْطِشُ بِهَا، وَرِجْلَهُ الَّتِي يَمْشِي بِهَا، وَلَئِنْ سَأَلَنِي لَأُعْطِيَنَّهُ، وَلَئِنِ اسْتَعَاذَنِي لَأُعِيذَنَّهُ».

English Translation

On the authority of Abu Hurayrah (may Allah be pleased with him), who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “Allah the Exalted has said: Whoever shows enmity to a friend (wali) of Mine, I declare war upon him. My servant does not draw near to Me with anything more beloved to Me than what I have made obligatory upon him; and My servant continues to draw near to Me with voluntary acts until I love him. And when I love him, I become his hearing with which he hears, his sight with which he sees, his hand with which he strikes, and his foot with which he walks. Were he to ask of Me, I would surely give him; and were he to seek refuge in Me, I would surely grant him refuge.”

Waxaa laga weriyay Abu Hurayrah (Allaha raalli ka noqdo), inuu yidhi: Rasuulka ﷺ wuxuu yidhi: “Allah taʼaalaa wuxuu yidhi: Qofkii col ku noqda wali (saaxiib) ii ah, dagaal baan ku qaadayaa. Addoonkaygu kuma soo dhowaado wax iiga jecel waxa aan ku faral yeelay; addoonkayguna wuxuu igu soo dhowaanayaa nawaafilka (cibaadada ikhtiyaariga ah) ilaa aan jeclaado. Markaan jeclaadana, waxaan noqdaa maqalkiisa uu wax ku maqlo, aragiisa uu wax ku arko, gacantiisa uu wax ku qabto, iyo cagtiisa uu ku socdo. Haddii uu i weydiisto, hubaal waan siin doonaa; haddii uu magangal i weydiisto, hubaal waan magangelin doonaa.”
